Pool Access
This year, instead of using key fobs to enter the pool gate, access will be by phone app. Please make sure your cell phone number and email address are correct on your registration to ensure that you receive the app and access to unlock the gate.
We have a new and improved gate this year. To prevent it from breaking/malfunctioning with the new scanner and to prevent unauthorized access, NEVER PROP THE GATE! Our property is monitored by cameras, and any member who props the gate or allows unauthorized access of others may have their membership revoked.
Swim Lessons
We have partnered with a swim school, Geaux Swim, LLC which will be providing swim lessons at Mirabeau starting next week. Members are welcome to register for lessons with them, and you can read more about Geaux Swim below:
"Geaux Swim Baton Rouge is the newest swim lessons program in Baton Rouge, La. Geaux Swim is owned and run by Jeannine Malbrough Crouch, formerly the Head Coach of Tiger Aquatics Swim Club. Jeannine has 35 years of competitive swim experience and is excited to share with the BR community. Geaux Swim is a GREAT opportunity to get a head start on summer league season. Geaux Swim offers group & private lessons for beginners to advanced swimmers ages 2-12. To view more about Geaux Swim visit www.geauxswimbr.com."
A few important notes about the swim lesson program as it relates to members:
- They will have morning and afternoon sessions but will not use the entire pool
- At the conclusion of lessons, all participants will exit the pool area. If a swim lesson student is also a Mirabeau member, they would be able to re-enter for member swim using their gate app access.
